Distillery Operations Coordinator
Rika was excited to join the Bently Heritage team in 2020 as the Distillery Operations Coordinator, though she is by no means new to the Bently Family. Rika has been married to our Ranch Manager, Matt McKinney, for 25 years and has lived on the ranch for nearly 20 years. Rika holds Bachelor degrees in Animal Science from Cal Poly State University, San Luis Obispo and Molecular Microbiology and Immunology from University of Nevada, Reno. After hours Rika can be found working on her family’s sheep and goat operation where her favorite activity is playing midwife to ewes and their newborn lambs…often at 3am! Being a farmer doesn’t leave time for hobbies and her life’s goal is to try being bored sometime to see what all the fuss is about.
